Forget the MOMO driving shoes, or the Sparco ones, or various other expensive stuff

i introduce to you all my BOBO MOMO's! i got them at payless for $9.00 and they're the best driving shoes i've worn since i started driving! i mean. i can tell this will be my shoes of choice for autocrossing. flat-soled, perfect width, and light-weight! so much better than my other name-brand sneakers!

GO OUT AND BUY SOME!:ylsuper

Hmmm...I think I've seen those before. I like the pair I got. They are black, 2 white stripes on the side and you seen the kind with half the heel in back gone?? I can drive in mine really good. :)

LMFAO

i don't see how that correlates to my finding a great pair of driving shoes. do you think most girls go out to buy shoes that are 'easy to drive in?' no. i think not. unlike most girls, i wore my previous pair of sneakers for 2 years. and i don't even have half as many shoes as my ditzy 16yr old sister does. so HA! but i'm just messing with you. it's all in good fun! :D

Hey I had a pair for 5years...I can still wear them even. But I've never heard of those Bobo Momo's before or however you spell that...Our payless around here dont sell anything good no more. :( I think I stopped in once for a pair of shoes, whatever pair I get I break them in to drive in... I think I have 3 good pair of shoes out of 5.

OK, yes they may feel good for driving around in the street and you may have more control than other shoes but if you use those to race, well just don't. Those Sparco ones are there for a reason, They happen to function extremely well and I bet they are comfortable but they happen to be fire retardent. Yes, that means you will be less likely to lose your toes in a accident.

I always buy what I can afford. I've tried on shoes that hurt my feet b/c I have a really good arch in my foot unlike others in my family(nearly all flat footed)...

SoHo has some comfortable shoes but I like my Athletic works. They are good. :)

I used to have a pair of soft, flat soled shoes that give me great control.

I wonder they are, I used them last year when I was racin' a tad.

Hmmm, I wonder were there are.

Fred...:)

Socks?? What does that have to do with it??Everytime I buy a new pair of shoes(only own 5pairs of shoes :D ) I start driving in them soo I can get the feel of the clutch and gas pedal thru them.

I dont get why some girls younger than me and older own so many pairs of shoes. All I think some need is couple pairs of tennis shoes and pair of dress shoes. But yet I'm not one that likes to get all dressy sometimes so I'll wear nice pair of sandals. Works the same. One of my friends has like 20 pairs of shoes and she dont even wear over half anymore.

ack. i have some fake doc marten boots, 4 eyelet. and they reek for driving. the stock pedals in a 240 are tiny as hell, and those shoes were too wide and clunky, and i slipped off the pedals a lot.

a good driving shoe would be flat soled, light, and fitted to the size of your foot. i.e. no unecessary width. and yes sparco's and momo's are flame retardant. that's the only thing that would be worth noting. because you can find anything that's comfortable and good to drive in and not cost that much. that was the whole point of this friggin thread.

and no pictures of my sister! STOP THAT!and bobo's are no name shoesit's a play on words: BOBO MOMO's! geez! can i get a laugh around here???

You grinded your shoes?? hehe My friend had her dad grind my dress shoes for junior prom so they werent slick on the bottom, it worked too. He put markings soo I would have actual traction with the shoes. I hate dress shoes, bout killed me with the heel.
