The exhaust is a restriction. It would be easier to add 100 hp with a larger exhaust, but maybe not required. Cram enough fuel and oxygen in there, and it will overcome the restriction. The dry NOS system relies on increased fuel pressure to deliver the extra fuel required. Are fuel pressure and volume directly proportional? If you double the fuel pressure, do you get double the fuel, assuming the same injector duty cycle? If so, then you might get 100hp, roughly 1/3 more than stock, by increasing the fuel pressure to about 60psi. However, the system I'm aware of relies on altering the vacuum to the regulator to get the extra fuel, so a stock regulator won't cut it. You will have to find some way to get the extra pressure, while still delivering stock pressures at anything but WOT, and you will probably spend some time tuning the system for the right ratios. The other option is with an ECU upgrade to increase duty cycle of the injectors and leaving the fuel pressure alone. Probably not worth the expense unless you go all out with a wet system.
