exhaust with out a muffler?

has anybody ever used one of those exhaust pipes that u dont need a muffler for? i was looking at a couple of them online and i wasnt liking the whole idea, if anybody has used one tell me how u like it and is it worth it...

Is the piping resonated, or are you talking about straight-pipe?

Regardless, I can't see it providing enough sound dampening, and I'm certain the increase in flow is marginal at best. It will sound very raw and be obnoxiously loud.

the straight pipes, but i was looking at a brm maybe, i know alot of people say they have good products...

You could do something custom I suppose. If you were going for a straight pipe sound or a side pipe. For a couple months my brother had a side pipe on his '01 SE. Was silly imo.

I definitely recommend the BRM, but I like a deep tone without any buzz.
