Hey guys,

I have my intake valve covers off and I am trying to coax my exhaust valve covers off but they are really being held on good by the original liquid gasket. I have all the bolts off and I've tried a rubber mallet, penetrating lube and a heat gun and they refuse to move.

I took a look at the FSM and it doesn't have any special processes. The engine is still in the car, so I can't get at it from underneath. Any reccomendations?

Keep persuading it with the rubber mallet. Some are stuck pretty good but it will come off eventually...no real tricks to do it
