So i got the dc sports exhaust and ive been stuck. I got the original exhaust off except up to the Rear catalytic converter. I was going to sawzaw through it but i didnt want to cut the end of the rear converter off because it has the piece to hold onto the bolts. So i proceeded to un screw the bolt that was holding on the exhaust to the rear "CC" but there not even screws there just rectangular pieces of metal that are welded on. So at this point im at having the intire exhaust off, except 2 inches of piping from the original exhaust. It is hanging off of the rear catalytic converter. BTW its all rusted to hell. So for some reason my friend was hitting it with a hammer and got it off. What he got off is the end pice of the rear CC that holds on to the pair of nuts and bolts. So now i have a CC without the attachment ring. So i cant bolt the end of the new exhaust to the CC. So i was going to then just replace the CV But its welded on(I think) . SOOO what im asking haha is what would you recomend. I know how to install the exhaust but i cant attach the exhaust to the rear CC because its not there anymore. Rusted beyond use...(IM TRYING TO INSTALL DC SPORTS EXHAUST)

Some pix for clarification

This is the piece that came off. On the right hand side id the piece of exhaust that was still left on(stuck) to the rear CC. And on the left is the piece of the CC that came off.

In this pic is whats left of the CC. As you can see i need the piece that came off with the exhaust. Could i get that and reweld it back on. I dont know if you could even get that only piece.

There is nothing else i could use in replace of that "Bolt holder" is there?

And if i have to replace the whole thing how? Its welded on isnt it?

Thankyou soooo much in advance for who ever answers.

Your only option may be to take it to an exhaust shop for some custom work. And please, don't get under the car and start yanking on the CC with just those cinder blocks holding up the car...eek

Ok Thank for the help. Everyone said that i talked to to use a flex pipe and weld it on there so imma just do that. New exhaust will be posted up soon. O BTW we only raised it to inspect to get a better angle. No work was done while was only on cinder blocks but thatnx for you input :)
