Please look around the forum. This topic has been covered ad nauseam. Search for the word exhaust in this forum and you'll find many posts.

Also, looks like you have an M37 so moving this to the correct forum.

V8 guys have good luck with custom exhaust. I'd say do the same on your M37. True 2.5 inch with an X pipe in between. It'll come out real nice. I think that's the route I'm going.

I would do 2 1/4" on the V6. My brother had a 4.0L Frontier and took the secondary cats out, ran dual 2 1/4 in pipes into a magnaflow muffler with an internal X and out through dual 2 1/4" pipes over the passenger side of the axle into dual 2 1/2" tips. Had a mean sound to it and looked alot like the Nismo exhaust for the Titan. Picked up a noticeable amount of power compared to stock without hurting the torque.
