Exhaust tucking

Hey guys i have a 89' 240sx hatch with a Sr20det redtop. Question i have in mind is whats the best way of tucking your exhaust? I see people slamming their cars to the ground. Now im not going to go ridiculously low just want it to look good while maintaining performance. A bit of info for ya about my exhaust. I have a Megan 3" downpipe to flexpipe. catco cat. HKS HI-Power exhaust. And it hangs pretty low. The root of the problem i believe is my downpipe if it were shorter im sure i can get it all tucked and it would be flush with the frame. Just want to hear your thoughts. Anything i missed that you need to know let me know

Make the dp shorter and cut and weld ur exhaust hangers shorter....not really going to help you maintain performance. when a car is "slammed" it hurts the performance more then helps because it throws of the geometry of the car and kills cornering.

yea like i said im not slammin it but would be nice to get rid of as much scraping as i can

something i did that helps a bit is to put hose clamps on the rubber thingies that hold up the exhaust.
mines got raised like a whole inch, but thats because my rubber thingies were worn out.

yeah.. any exhaust shop with a plasma torch and a welder. its much cheaper too..

if you really want your exhaust tucked up high you should just take it to a mufffler shop and have them do it.
