Exhaust Tip.... GONE

Ok so the other day i was walking to my car after I got out of class and there it is.. one of my exhaust tips is just gone. i have no idea how it came off since its welded on there but w/e.

So i called Turbochargers.com to see if they can send me a replacement tip (Artisan Exhaust) and the guy said "let me find out how to get you one and ill call you back." He called me back a few hours later and they are sending me one for free to replace it even tho i didnt even buy it from them. Turbochargers.com has some of the best customer service ive seen, right on par with Stillens.

I give a big to them for the great service.

I also thought i would talk to him about the exhaust itself and I told him how it seems to drone around 3000rpm and he said hes gonna talk to his fabricator to see if there is something they can do.

I also told him about how a lot of guys on here that have the 2.5 love the Artisan Exhaust and gave him some tips about it would work best on the 2.5 so who knows.. they may be making one for the 2.5 soon that would have a slightly narrower pipe and be a little shorter to fit the 2.5

Turbochargers.com does have good customer service. I bought my artisan from them.

Let me know what they say about the droning. Its getting to the point for me that I cant take it anymore. I need a fix or its coming off. Its a shame cuz I think its the best sounding exhaust out there for the a/c, except the droning.

Im right there with you. The droning is really startin to drive me crazy. He said a resonator should help and i was thinkin of doin that but i dont know how it would effect the sound itself. I mean i dont want to put a resonator on there if its gonna sound like stock.

omg everytime I look at the picture it just makes me laugh. I just find it so hard to believe. Is that where they welded the tip?

Yeah thats where it was welded.. and can you imagine my suprise when i saw it.

But on a side note I called Turbochargers on monday and i got the tip in yesterday. i didnt think i was gonna get it till some time next week.
