also, pretty much any 3" exhaust that comes with (or at least offers) a silencer will put you under the 95 decible range (legal limit).

Check out the Circuit Sports exhaust. I saw it in an issue of Project Car magazine and it actually looks somewhat stock, but be warned, I have waited almost a month and a half to get it because it has to be shipped from Japan. It is a 3" all the way back and will be much quieter then the Megan Racing hive of bumblebees that is currently on the car.

I purchased mine through enjukuracing.com. Check out the link.

No, on the contrary, if you are currently running a stock setup it should improve power since it is 3" all the way back. I chose it because it is quiet under normal conditions ( like pulling into your driveway) but under power it is supposed to have a nice deep tone to it. I bought my 89 with an SR20DET swapped into it but the previous owner put a Megan Racing exhaust that sounds horrible and is loud all the time. I work late and dont get home until after 2 in the and I will soon have a baby to ride around with so I wanted something that still was unrestrictive but looked and sounded good, which is why I went with the Circuit Sports exhaust. Just my 2 cents.

Not true, my BRM was extremely loud even with the resonator. Droned very heavily while cruising. Not as loud as my 5zigen 80mm though

Circuit Sport exhaust is supposedly one of the quietest aftermarket systems for the S-chassis.
