Hey all, I'm still pretty noob at this whole fixing up cars idea... I was just wondering what type of exhaust i should get for my car, and everything i need. Like Headers, catalytic, muffler... what else? lol... and also I'm looking for something with a deep throaty sound and somewhat affordable... thanks guys!

My exhaust started leaking at the outlet on the resonator (the little muffler looking thing behind the muffler) and it started to sound really bad. I dont like ricey can mufflers. I am taking out the resonator and putting in a pipe there, and replacing the muffler with a Dynomax super turbo 2.25" inlet/outlet. Ill post back soon with how it sounds and everything. the muffler itself was only $59.

What all you need will depend on how much you want to spend, if you want to keep NA vs Turbo, and the condition of your current exhaust. Ultimately, for a nice street setup, you'd want header, high-flow cat, and exhaust from cat back. check with your crazy Cali. laws about headers, if you plan on being "legal"There's only a few header companies with 240 headers (Hotshot, DCSports, Pacesetter- which have been talked about- search). We've got some great sponsors here too, so check them out (or go cheaper still and get a muffler shop to custom bend some 2.5"- 3" exhaust piping. You've got quite a few options, so keep searching. I personally will probably look at BRM when my exhaust finally falls off.
