exhaust/ sr swap

alright guys, i searched the board couldn't find any help. now i'm curious about how the hell you disconnect the exhaust from the mainfold. Like how do you access the bolts? i think there's 3 of them, and i think i might be able to access 2 of them for sure but that 3rd one looks like a bltch. And did you have to use a deep socket?well if you could reply that would be great, thanks

What kind of engine?

What are you trying to install?

Give us some background cause we're in the dark right now.

You should be able to access the bolts fairly easily if your installing a cat-back exhaust.

well i have a 1990 240sx wit the 12valve KA and i'm taking it out because i'm dropping in an sr20det. basically i'm just trying to find out how to disconnect the exhaust from the engine so i can take it out.the cars exhaust has the cat taken out and custom 2.25 inch pipe all the way back to the a big muffler. i can see 3bolts i can access 2 of them but i'll need to get a deep socket but the 3rd one is a bit tricky. so there's some info, hope you can help me out thanks

Yeah with it being custom I have no way of helping you w/o at least a picture. Try using a swivel socket is the only thing I can say.
