Exhaust sound

I have seen alot of sites that say that the sound of the certain exhaust is a low sound. To me this sounds imposible because of just 4 cyl. Or, is this just at the idle.

I would say they sound deeper than the OEM exhaust. Mainly at idle and a bit on top (they are louder for shure), cause the increased pipe diameter makes it sound deeper due to the lower flowing rate of the exhaust gas at idle, as soon as the flow rate is getting higher(higher rpm) this effect will be minimized (loudness is depending on the size of the mufflers).I have just seen theres already a thread on the board with sounds of an apexi exhaust check them out.
