Sup fellaz...i just got my 91 240sx about a week ago and all was fine before....now when my car gets over 2500 rpm it sounds like i got a 4" exhaust and it is getting the old backfire into it....it doesnt seem to sound like a hole...
Most likely im gonna go with the 3" BRM exhaust since im thinkin of getting off the N/A line but what do u guys think the problem is?

just a good ol' exhaust leak. probably somewhere near the header if it's backfiring.

you live in NY, it snows there alot, that means there's alot of salt on the roads there, salt rusts your car like a *****, you most likely have a leak or a hole in the exhaust.

Yea..it doesnt matter i was talking to my cousin who helps a friend rebuild old camaros in his shop and he said that they are getting a new mandrel bending machine soon so when they get it in i can bend my own **** as long as i pay for piping and dont get in there way... they also said i can use the lifts aslong as they dont need them...im pretty happy right now...i went to a local junkyard and picked up 2 hood hinges and i made an offer on a 91 hachback trunk....the guy said he'll give it to me for $100...not bad i dont think glass and all...i still have to compression test my engine but when i do it im gonna change the Plugs and Plug wires so i just need to get paid from work lol ill get pics up soon so you guys can check it out
