exhaust smells a rotton egg

had my q in the shop with it running and noticed an awful smell after coming back,it had sit running for a few minutes???? anybody got any ideas on the cause? cat converters bad??

Yeah, usually rotten egg smell is usually from an overworked cat. Could be a sign that the car is running rich which could indicate leaky injectors or other fuel issues.

Rotten egg = hyrogen sulfide gas. Sure sign that the fuel is defective in manufacture.
