Hi guys.

I have a quick question, that should be answered easily enough.

Just picked up a SR20DET VVL S14 Blacktop. It comes with the downpipe from japan, but from what I understand, I will not be able to use it.

What will i need exactly? I see plenty of downpipes on ebay, but none of them are setup for an O2 Sensor. There are some sets that are around 500 bucks, but as I am not familiar with the brand names.

As I have to do the entire thing from the turbo back, what would you guys suggest?

Thanks again.

I think the reason why no one has said anything is because you didn't mention what car is this engine going into? I'm assuming since you're looking at the s14 exhaust system you're dropping an s14 sr20 into an s14 chassis which the stock dp and your stock s14 exhaust will bolt on to no problem.

Aw geez. Sorry abou that. Yes, the vehicle is a 96' s14.

So the stock exhaust will work? Probably just work a cat back then i assume.

Will having the Cat on there still cause any problems with the s14 that you know of.. anyone?

Thx

On the turbo extension there is a spot for your O2 sensor to be placed:http://www.srparts.com/turboupgrades.htmlThe downpipe has nothing to do with the o2 sensor...

You can leave the whole exhaust system stock and will not ruin anything. It's just another engine, engines don't require anything more or less than others.

with the stock dp and exhaust, you wont be able spool as quick. otherwise, everything should be fine. use the stockers if you need to save some money
