Exhaust review for SR motor only....just state what kindna exhaust you have and your experience with it...

I personnally love the N1 muffler (Fart Carn looking). I have an Apex i N1 EVO stainless steel piping...i don't think it's loud at all but already got 2 tickets for it (modified exhaust)

so yeah..i'm pretty much tired of the tickets...currently looking into RSR EX mag or BRM...been hearing a lot of positive things about them...but what about 5 Zigen Border III and Blitz realize TT? Aren't they pretty quite too? Any input would be appreciated

I Bee*R exhaust, it resembles the N1 duals but quite a bit quieter. I personally love the sound of it.

GReddy Power Evolution III like it. Much like the Apex'i N1. Fart Can, and comes up at sort of an angle not as bad as the N1 though. Does sit a little low for my taste but sounds great. Can't hear it when it idles, doesn't drone on the highway I love it.The addition of the manifold made it sound so much better (tubular manifold, HKS style turbo extension, 3" downpipe, 3" test pipe)

I use the megan racing exhaust. The canister is a little big I was thinking about modifying it at an exhaust shop. IT really resembles the n1 though. Its quiet at low rpms but it gets pretty loud during WOT. Personally i paid for it really cheap so its a good buy for the price. Also it was a noticable hp gain during low end and nice and smooth on the high end..

ive got the buddy club spec II on my blacktop and it looks and sounds great....i like the way it looks particularly cuz it doesnt really look like any other exhaust out there....also i noticed power gains throughout the rev range, quite a difference from my stock exhaust i was using when i first got her back....

I have the RSR exmag, its not the best looking exhaust but it sounds great, especially at WOT. I've still gotten an exhaust ticket but just because I was speeding and that got added on to the list of tickets. But just driving around town its really quiet for being 3'' piping, and Im running with no cat too

I have the Megan Racing Exhaust off of ebay, good quality, but a little loud, its fine with the silencer in but it looks like poop with it in. Other than the loudness, its a good bang for the buck.

I have what you guys call the SSAutoCrack one. It has a bullet can and sits out slanted a little. The can itself is a bit small (which means its loud). This exhaust rumbles, but I care less about sound tickets. There is nothing but modified trucks and old school cars here that can drown my car out anyday, not to mention hondas (bzzzzzz), so I don't get any cops goin after me about exhaust. That description was on a s13 blacktop with turbo back (greddy extension, 3" downpipe, and 3" testpipe). This is all on an S14 of course. Now with my SR22 Redtop, it is considerably louder and deeper. It could be because of cams also. To better put, it is louder then the N1 for sure, so if you have troubles with tickets in your area, DO NOT BUY. If you like great sound along with performance (if u like loud) then buy it. I got mine over a year ago for 172 shipped off of ebay through *dohccivicna* or something like that. Now SSAutoChrome sells the same thing I bought through someone else except SSA one will have "Motoria" laser engraved on the tip, and mine doesn't.

Bump for this exhaust i have one and its really good its loud but not too too loud althouh one thing i dont like is that its 3.78 inch piping so the piping sits too low and scratches alot of things. but all in all its good.

I love my blitz nur-spec r. i have 3" downpipe, 3" test pipe + blitz exhaust. here is a sound clip of it revving with the silencer in.

Please right click and save as

Make sure your subwoofer is hooked up to get the full effect of the deep rumble of this exhaust.

i love my greddy titanium exhaust. muhahaha. its loud tho, but i dont have a cat or a resonator. all i have is a test pipe. its has a very nice sound to it. i need to put a cat in a see what it sounds like. i can run the car for an hour and let it idle for 20 seconds and rest my hand on the exhaust. haha. awesome. deeper than the previous.. blitz i believe in the post of this one. =)

Another user of the Blitz Nur-spec R. I have the Blitz downpipe and cat-back. It's loud, deep, and sets off car alarms in garages. It's not too loud for daily driving, but some prefer a quieter exhaust. I love it.

i love my RS*R exmag gt2, i have a video on here of what it sounds like and looks like out the back of the car. my mechanic has never really seen RS*R before, he swears by thermal, now he swears by thermal and RS*R. it really quite down low, and REALLY opens up after about 5k. in the vid the mic. kinda craps out because it goes to loud, but its pretty close.

rs*r is hot chit

but i'm running a taiwan-made invidia. it's a freaking nice exhaust, although it's a bit overpriced retail (something to the tune of $700, iirc)

loud enough to sound good, but not loud enough for 5-0 to immediately pull over your ***.

sounds really nice from outside. only bad thing is it drones on highway (but i have rear hatch carpet, spare, etc. gutted) and it's a bit too low.

other than that, it's freaking amazing

the quality is really nice, etc., etc.

iirc, jdmrice (richard tang) runs one on his v.2 car.

they have?

i personally dislike my BRM. it hangs really low under the rear subframe.

also, the hardware supplied isnt proper, washers or better bolts are required for installation.

and the worst, the flanges are too soft, i.e. my b-pipe and cat now meet in this fashion l( and my exhaust leaks like crazy.

other than that... it does sound good, minus the leak.

i was supprised by the ssauto exhaust i put on for my roommate, looks to be very good quality.

I have a new 5Zigen Pro-Racer ASpec exhaust (long enough name? lol) but I have yet to hear it on the car.

Had a Blitz Nur Spec on it and it sounded awesome.
