Exhaust Rattle on 97 S14

I seem to be getting a weird rattling sound when I accelerate from a dead stop in first gear from my exhaust pipe.

Any ideas?

By the way I have a Fujitsobo 3" exhaust if that helps with any reponses.

well do you still have the stock cat? because the samething happen to me, and i bought a test pipe and installed it and no more raddling for me. my car did get louder though. i got the megan 3" test pipe.

i got some rattle too, i think i gotta do the same soon.

Yeah it's a stock cat; unfortunately the last thing I want is for my car to get louder before I do the Sr20 swap.

well.... my car got louder because i have headers and an exhaust. if anything the SR20 makes less noise then the KA24. but if it raddles with the ka it will raddle with the sr. you could just get another cat. i got the test pipe because i wanted more performance. but it is up to you.

Check all the heat-shields too.

Also, if your car gets sluggish when leave from a dead stop, you could be having a driveshaft issue. I had a bad bearing or something, I forget exacly what it was, but I thought it was an exhaust rattle only from a dead stop...
