My exhaust is almost touching my rear diff. on my 240sx. If i push the piping i can get it far enough where it won't rattle. But not exactly sure how to push it over perminatly.

CIPracing told me to bend the exhaust hangers. But wouldn't welded steel be a little hard to bend....

The exaust mounts should be bolted to the car. try loosing them all including up near the car and try to reposition it. chances are though when you loosen them all it will naturally fall into its original place. thats if none of them are bent.

the rubbers hang from bolted on hangers along the path of the exhuast. They bolt to the underbody of the car.

yah i thought thats what your talking about. Would the design make it at an angle too? or would that have to be the hanger as well?

Talking about how the muffler is facing up, as aposed to straight out

I am not sure I follow what your asking but the muffler when properly positioned should be parrallel with the body of the car.
