Ok, so did I eff up by removing the resonator and going with a straight pipe from the cat? I have noticed when I get on the gas there is a bit of a rasp ( )when my car is cold. However by the time I make my 30 minute commute home the rasp is gone and the car sounds just plain mean. Should I put a resonator back on?

Sorry, Guess ya need to know what I am running....2.5" pipe with a custom Y pipe + dual Magnaflow mufflers. BTW the Rasp is only heard if the windows are down or you are outside of the car.

Raspiness is normal if you recently had this installed. How many miles on the system?

It's also common for the sound to change a little as the pipes warm up, just as your ride to work shows.

Resonator usually solves some droning or raspiness. It could just be the Magnaflows all together.

There are probably 5 or 6,000 miles on the exhaust. I might have to see if I can find a resonator to put on it. I can deal with the cold raspiness.

Thanks Tyler.
