I have two questions I was hoping you guys could help me with.

1) I just installed a new downpipe on my NA car because the old one was rusted to hell and had a huge hole in it. The new pipe on the passenger side is touching the body of the car just below the part the where the headers and the downpipe meet. It's only for about a couple of centimeters but I was wondering what sort of damage the pipe could do there with all the heat flowing through it. Also, how would you remedy this error?

2) The drivers side downpipe had a bunch of weird bolt instead of the standard studs in it (where there are three holes). Once I test drove the car they fell out (off course) and the car began to chug along. Where would you guys recommend finding news studs for this area?

I have bolts/nuts holding my test pipes to my catback section...Maybe you didn't tighten them enough. Is your pipe touching the frame? I don't think the frame is going to cause a fire or anything, but it definitely would rattle and probably wear a hole in the pipe. I would return the pipes to wherever you got them and get ones that fit...

I did hear rattling when I started it up.

At this point I'm not sure if it's the pipes, the headers, or the body that's the problem. On the driver's side I can attach the pipes to the headers no problem with plenty of room. On the passenger side the headers themselves (not the pipes) seem like they are too close to the frame. Gonna try taking things apart and see what I can do. If nothing... Ill try to return them I guess.

Also, what size bolts are you using to hold it together

I have a 93 300zx N/A 2 seater automatic. Installing a Megan catback exhaust(quad tip). I am having the hardest time finding aftermarket downpipes for the automatic transmission. Am I overlooking something here? I've been on a hunt for 6 months trying to find downpipes for this car. Noone seems to be able to help me. Do they make downpipes for the 93 300zx na 2 seater automatic trans? If so, where can I purchase them? Please help

The manual and automatic exhaust are different?

My car is manual swapped. Would that explain why the exhaust rubbed on the passenger side?
