Hey everybody, right now as my car sits i am running from the headers to the down pipe 2.5 but after that it is reduced to 2.25. The reason im stating this is because everytime i shift and i dont know if anyone else notices this also but i get like a burst of exhaust pressure at every shift if im on it slightly. Would increaseing the piping all the way through to 2.5 even out the tone and deepen it some or not? i understand the concept of backpressure for NA motors but is that maybe the reason for not so great exhaust tone? And do the cans also make a good difference in sound also?
Not a noob but just running through different ideas in my head to finish up my dd.
Thanks
