Exhaust Questions

My exhaust has finally rusted though so its now time to change it all out. Ive cut it from the catalitic converter. I was wondering if i need the resonator or not. And well im to cheap to by a new muffler so i was wondering if the old exhaust from my dads mustang would work i can get it mounted thats not the problem. im just not sure if its going to affect my proformance. is JBA exhaust system. here is a link. http://www.jbaheaders.com/evol...-2633

I changed mine front to back from the header to muffler. Even the cheap $150 shipped eBay headers are made with stainless steel and ligther and better than stock Changed my O2 sensor too. I had the local muffler shop do the fitting and they also offer performance mufflers to chooe from, which takes the guess work out of fitment issues.For rust protection, I'm going to sand and paint the pipe soon.
