exhaust questions

I did some searching and found some useful info. I'm planning on getting rid of my car this august and getting a 240sx (89-94). After several months of researching and trying to find out what I'd like to do and all that, I've decided on the SR20, when I can afford it.

The thing is, I won't be able to afford it as soon as I get the car, so I'm planning on getting intake and exhaust. I'd like to buy an exhaust that I can use still once I get the SR20. What exhaust systems for the s13 use 3 inch piping? Or what do you guys recommend I get as far as an exhaust system goes? I realize I will lose some backpressure with using large diameter piping on the stock 240 engine, but that'd fine with me.

Dont waste money on an intake if your going to get an SR. Only the filter is swappable, nothing else.

When you get your 3" exhaust just leave the silencer in. (If it comes with one). That will give you some backpressure and quiet down the exhaust because it will be loud with a big exhaust on a NA car.

I have the GP sport spec D, and it's badass looking, its got a cool angle to it, I'd recomend it Chris

I'm just getting an ebay short ram, so i'm not that concerned with what happens to it if and when I get the SR20. I know they're around here all over the place, but does anyone have any good pics of their exhaust?

I've figured out after looking at countless sx pictures..that they all pretty much look the same: they are big *** mufflers that come out at a badass slant. lol
