Exhaust Question

Ok, I have a 1993 240sx with the stock KA. I am wanting to get an exhaust because 1) I don't know how much longer mine is going to last and 2) There is a piece missing on my stock one and its getting annoying! I really want the BRM exhaust but I don't have $400 to spend right now. I am wondering if there is a big difference in buying a ready made cat-back, like the one Greg makes, and getting just a muffler and having a muffler shop just run new pipes. What is the difference in the two and which muffler would everyone reccomend, I want a deep sound but not loud, I want to be maybe just a little bit louder than stock. Any answers would be greatly appreciated, and Greg, if you have any sales or anything planned for the future let me know.

Save your money and buy the BRM you will NOT be disappointed. Get your exhaust fixed at a muffler shop and get disappointed. Not worth throwing your money away. It is better to spend a little more now then to spend little and be disappointed!!

AHHH DAMNIT, Even with $30 off it is more than I have or will have until after Jan or Feb.... Keep me posted on any kind of deal goin on, I have been thinking about it and I definately want to go with BRM..Greg is one hell of a salesman! I have wanted a BRM since before I got a 240....But, I will definately get one...may be a couple months though but I am sold on BRM..

Yeah, I think it's going to be pretty hit or miss if you go to a local muffler joint. Also, they will most likely not have a mandrel bender or even a supply of mandrel bent pipe, so you'll end up with crush-bent pipes.
