Hi I'm new here. Just a question.
I just got a custom axle back done on my 2008 A/C 3.5l

The guys at the shop made me a 2.25 borla style with magnaflow muffler and tip. Just wondering if there is any gains with 2.25 which is I believe the stock pipe diameter. Not sure why it's not 2.5". Also Im getting a racingline Y pipe and what diameter of piping should I opt for the mid pipe. 2.25 or 2.5 for the midpipe with 2.25 axle back

Not sure what the huge difference is between the two sizes, as I have only stock exhausts on all the cars in the garage. I think you should go with the 2.5, only if there are any gains from it that gives more HP and ft lbs. That's worth the price and money. Whats your setup btw?

mac, that's cool if the difference- you only HEAR it in you ear more than you FEEL it in the "seat of the pants dyno".That's still a successful mod :gapteeth:

Sorry for the late reply as I was super busy. I like how it sounds but doesn't feel any gains at all. Any recommendations or ideas what should I go for my full exhaust system. I currently have eom exhaust and 2.25 axle back custom magnaflow muffler and tips.
