Exhaust Question...

I been looking online for an exhaust to by for my 240 and i found a website, but its weird.. it has 2 different prices on S14 exhausts...

1995-96

and 1997/98

my question here is.... is there actually a difference between the 2cars enough to make the exhausts different?

i thought every S14 was the same with the exception of lights...

is this company just trying to jerk people around or is there really a need for different exhausts for the 2 S14s

The factory exhausts are slightly different. I am using an oem 97 on my 96 and have no issues but not sure whether an aftermarket would have the same compatibility. The differences are not in the hangers but there are odd protrusions with rubber bumpers on the 97 that arent on a 96.

I have a Zenki with the 97-98 stock exhaust on it. Hell the install was exactly how I took the damn thing out. Nothing different.

there is no difference in the exhaust what so ever.... it is exactly the same...

on that note.. I would recomend the BRM S14 exhaust if you are in the market for one....link to their webiste in in my sig.. however the exhaust is not on there since they just started making them.. but give me or Hitman an e-mail and we will tryt o get the pics out to you ASAP!

Hi, We know the S14 from 95-96 and 97-98 are almost the same, so as well as the exhaust too. But on our exhaust, the one for 95-96, on the mid pipe, there is no resonator, and the tip much longer then the 97-98 model, these are the only 2 difference. So, the only you could see in picture is 97-98, it has a resonator on the mid pipe and a shorter tip. So, we believe some settings or hangers are different between 95-96 and 97-98.

-----------you are using one from a 98 slip.

The apexi n1 single works fine on mine.
