im havin problems with my truck.
im overheating, white smoke out of my exhaust, and milky oil.
the truck has 234,000 miles and its a 5 sped.
any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Time for a rebuild. After that it will be a fun truck. Or if you wanted to you could try to source another motor and just swap the trans over. Rebuilding would be the best option .

The machine shop near me does long blocks, full teardown and rebuild. Presurre tested and decked and all for $1000. $500 for the shortblock and my head got rebuilt for $300 i think. Plus labor and parts, but if it doesn't need any parts then its just a $100 gasket set.

Also if your HG is blown thats not too bad. If your timing chain guide sheared off and your chain slapped through the front cover's water jacket then it might suck to find another front cover.
