My Z Idles fine an has no miss at all.. When I start to take off its fine until I get about 2 grand an then it looses all power an barley wants to run.. So I pulled the car into the garage an revved it to 4grand an sparks an exhaust was turning red.. So it really seems as if the Converters are clogged.. but there already removed.. So maybe the cats are clogged someone had said..

With all this black gunk built up on everything WOULDN'T it be a tell tell sign that the Catalytic Converters are clogged??? Or Cats???

whoa.. is that exhaust residue in your intake? it looks like it's been building up for a while.

only thing I can think of is excess exhaust pressure on one (or both) sides is causing more exhaust than usual to pass through your EGR. if that's the case, then yes, your exhaust is clogged somewhere.

Good luck hope it's something simple.

Maybe Cat backs are clogged.... Or fuel pump is going out.. I have no fuel pressure gauge tho.. Need advice plz

-- It was below 5 degrees out of time.. I can't believe it.. After all the stuff I put myself through for the last 2 months...

--Procedure__ I disconnected the AAC an the TPS I set the base idle at 750 RPM's an loosened up the CAS an just tapped it counter clockwise until it was set at 15 degrees..

Yea brother..I AM SO HAPPY... The timing was the problem all along... Also the check valve in the fuel pump was bad.. It wouldn't hold pressure..... It still smokes a bit but I am sure that it is bad gas an fouled plugs.. Running great tho.. I have been working on it since Dec 18.. Now I am just waiting on the previous owner to get me the tittle.. He is already breaking the law he is past his 60 days but the WV state boys gave him just ten more to get in his name an then give it to me.. He was trying to sell to me for only parts to get outa paying the guy that he got it from.400bucks that he still owed on Z. Ha didn't work.. It has a brand new paint job.. Id be a fool to just let a work of art go to waste.. I have a older Z that blew up after I had only had it for like 4 months.. It threw a rod bearing..
