Exhaust pipe diameter

Does anyone know where i can find an exhaist pipe that has a lower diameter that 2.5 in.? I know that this sounds wiers but all i want is acceleration. I want to build my car to do the quarter mile the best it can without turbo or nitrous. Obviously i want acceleration. what is the best pipe diameter for accel?

you can find a 2.5" pipe at any exhaust shop. it's pretty standard.

look go 2 1/2" i picked up .3 seconds with 2 1/2" and no cat

since your going to be at the track do this...just take off the exhaust and run open header/manifold. Or go have a shop make you a 2.5 in. straight pipe that bolts to the header and bumps out right behind the front driver wheel.

go w/ drifts idea. that'd be the best thing to do for accel.

Actually the best thing is too get McDonalds straws and tape them to the exaust manifold. They improve your acceleration because they maintain that back pressure. Newb. :sleep

don't think exhaust make much improvement on NA.. maybe 0.2 sec if lucky...

yeah well some people are stupid enough to spend over a hundred bucks per .001 of a second gained in et's....
