Hey guys,
anyone know if this exhaust with fit nicely on the 08 z?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GSP-03-0 ... ccessories

From what i read its known as the X02 Exhaust, i don't know much else but it seems to be the hks exhaust without the name and for a heck of a lot cheaper.

Any help is appreciated.

You're right, it's a replica of the HKS Hi Power exhaust. The couple of people that I know that have one had the same opinions on it...fit fine but the tips weren't high quality - you can always get some replacement tips. One said there was a little rasp in the exhaust and both mentioned some drone at highway speeds. I've been in a Z with an HKS HP exhaust and it had drone on the highway, so I'm guessing it's just a matter of design.

Post pics if you end up getting one!

PS: Love the sig! :badger

This x02 is the exhaust I have on my car, the Godspeed one is the exact same product. (same factory and all)

The builld quality was fine suprisingly, welds were good and the fitment was spot on. The only thing that is downer about it is the gross exhaust tips it comes with.

What they do is go for the 'burnt titanium blue tip" look with the stainless steel tips that comes with their package. Long story short, it fails. hard. So what i did was found Topspeed 4.5 inch titanium exhaust tips on ebay and they looked 34524345632645x better.

I don't know if they (topspeed) are still on ebay but i know there are these universal 4.5 inch titanium tips which should work just fine.

no drilling required, just tighten the bolt against the exhaust and you're good to roll.

Yeah it should, the exhaust actually came from an 07 350z and they are both virtually the same

IMHO I would wait & save up for better quality......this old cliche makes a lot of common sense...."do it right the first time or don't do it at all"!

I'd by the HKS, but for an extra thousand dollars for the exact same exhaust its just a waste, it could be a lower quality stainless but considering i do not drive my car in winter i should be good. I just can't justify paying for the HKS name.

If its made from the same t304 material as its copy and has great welds, there's no point (imo) it sounds better, plus with the price you pay for the HKS you can have 3 of them.

Yeah there have been negative reviews on some (first came into production, fitment issues), but from the majority of what I see, all i can spot are positive and happy customers.

Good Product + big savings = win

With that said, I plan on getting rid of my exhaust and getting the motordyne tdx v2 sometime in spring.

Thanks! You just proved my point....save money and buy quality!
Now it's costing you more $$$$$. lol

BTW Motordyne TDX v2 is a super great choice!
