Hi! Searching for a new exhaust for my '04 coupe. Leaning towards Stillen. What's your opinion?

Greddy EVO2. Wonderful product, sounds better IMHO, and I love it.

If I were to rank them...IMO:

1. HKS2. Stillen TD3. Greddy

The HKS sounds the best...but it is the most expensive. Stillen is a great all-around option, and the Greddy is perfect for turbo apps.

...or you could do it the unorthodox way and just take the exhaust off, and leave it off. Depending on where you live though that might not be cool with Johnny law, unless you live near me where the cops find that kind of stuff groovy.

Your car will sound very agressive... and loud... a good bit of G's and Z's ride around with their exhausts off in the area i live in.

but speaking of unorthodox, you can also run single exhaust. There is only one G where I live that runs a single exhaust (not sure what brand), but it sounds rather beast.

But! the manufactures that the guys above me posted have great products that you should look at though...

happy hunting =)

Get Fast Intentions, IMO the best sounding exhaust for G's. You have to search around and listen to sound clips so you get an idea what you really like because we all have different preferences.

+1 for Fast Intentions. I listened to sound clips for over an hour one day. And thiers sounds the best by far. Nice and deep, and no raspy barble on the decel.

The Greddy EVO2 isn't designed for turbo'd cars.

The Greddy EVOTT is their exhaust system for turbo'd cars.

IMHO, Stillen doesn't rank very high, since it sounds too much like stock.

STILLEN FTW... subtle at idle, but kicks azz in higher RPM's. I have no regrets!

I think any aftermarket exhaust is nearly 30lbs lighter, with the sedan's we have one advantage weight wise... single exhaust track... which power wise is no bonus, just in the weight dept.

So you don't have the 3" one?

70mm/2.75" is the tubing diameter.

120mm/4.75" is the tip size.

Thanks for all the responses! Now I'm even more confused. Guess I have to go with what sounds best to my ear. My husband is a Service Manager for Goodyear and deals with cars everyday but isn't positive what the right 'sound' for the G is. (although he knows he doesn't like the sound of the stock exhaust!!!) He seems to think it sounds like a boat motor! He's real fussy but, likes the sound of Borla and I am now leaning towards Fast Intentions.

Here my fast Intentions sound clip, keep in mind that I have test pipes and in person the exhaust is a little more throaty and deeper

Not feeling it, still too much stock sound (not good stock sound, bad) and too quiet for my taste

id have to say RSR. It keeps the original sound but just louder and deeper IMO. Only drawback is that it is on the expensive side.

Yeah, that's the one that I listened to last night. Pretty sweet! Wish I could make my husband pry apart his wallet and buy it for me! He's always putting $$$ into his Tahoe and the tractor that he is restoring, and his boat! lol

Guess I gotta buy it myself.
