My Blitz Nur Spec came in and it is extremely sexy. Whoever said they were really loud doesn't know what loud is, mine sounds just fine. But now with the exhaust i can hear the BOV and its definately not working. I get the sputtery, air slamming into turbo noise. Anyone have any suggestions on what to check? I figure i'll make sure the vacuum line i tapped into is ok and i figured i'd try to move it manually to make sure it wasn't frozen. Is that about all i can do?

Is it an adjustable BOV? If so, try to adjust it (depending on what type of BOV your using u have to remove some washers or just unscrew the adjusting bolt), maybe its adjusted for a lot more boost and will not open at the boost your getting.

It's a first gen DSM BOV and as far as i know the only thing they do to adjust those is to crush the top of it.

i would take it out and hook it up to a air compressor, might have blown your blow off valve, o rthe top might just need some resealing with jb weld.

hooking up an air compressor wuold definately not open the bov UNLESS you are running it backwards! :) or have a proper fitting to simulate vacuum.

If you need a new BOV, I have a skyline BOV i will be looking to sell in a bit. SEAN, you may want to jump on this deal if you dont already have one. It is worth $60 to me. This is a factory Nissan part, but made by diamond star motors. :)
