I love the sound of the coupe dual exhaust note...is it possible to swap the exhaust with the coupe dual to my sedan & achieve the same note? Just wondering if anyone tried this yet and the labor involve. thanx!

it would take alot of modification...never seen it done... thats why if i had to choose between a sedan and coupe...i would get the coupe just cause of the exhaust noise

i was just about to post the same question. does anyone make a dual exhaust for the sedan? does anyone make an exhaust that sounds like the coupe and is mellow like the coupe (single or dual exhaust)?

Have you tried some clips on youtube? When I was looking for exhaust clips, I'm positive I saw some people on there with sedans doing sound checks.

I think the biggest hurdle will be the fact that the sedans use a single exit area for the exhaust. The coupes use a dual putput exhaust with the muffler underneath the trunk. Not sure if there is enough clearance for the muffler section to even fit. And certainly with the longer overall length of the sedan, it would require some modification to the piping as well.

So, has anyone in this great forum found out anything about the exhaust surgery? Is it worth it?

No, I have a coupe, but for the sedan the answer would be no. I'm sure infinitech can tell you, you'd probably have to move or cut a lot of crap to shoehorn that in. Best bet would be what gwhizz said to check out the soundclips on youtube or on the site he listed, and find the sedan model and find a soundclip for it.
