exhaust manifolds

first of all i remember a tubular vs stock thread and i've searched for it and couldnt find it.so i've gone from a megan to and stock manifold that has been ported and polish and has a spray can coating for heat.and it feels like it spools smoother but doesn't seems like it pulls as hard.now it might just be because im not used to a smoother spool because the megan just seemed like it all hit at once. the whole reason i changed back is because after a more than hour drive the megan got the the EGT's hot and it ran like a**.dont have that problem with the stock. and input?

setup is a s14 t28 on 10 PSI and full turboback 3 inch exhaust.
