Last big thing I was waiting for before I fire it up!My mate Leon at Alunox exhausts is making them for me. Managed to get exactly the diameter and length I wanted in and still make them so you can get them in/out without pulling the engine.Should be done in a week or so then if I can find time to fit them I can fire it up!!

Would do, but they're so specific to my installation I doubt they'd be any good to anyone else! Especially LHD

That is a sexy pile of tubing!

Just curious, what size and length are the primaries?

Cheers all, sure Leon will appreciate the comments. They're 41mm ID x 1000mm length primaries. Just good ol' 308 stainless I'm afraid - un-obtanium prices are just too high!! (so was inconel)

Lol @ T45, at least the rest of you get stuff running in less than 5 years!

Have to make a correction, Leon read this last night and was horrified I'd said 308 stainless, apparently its crap, they're actually 304!

Great news on the plate. Looks like you've been giving it some abuse too Will get some pics of them installed. It's insanely tight around everything, the shame is that from the top you can barely see them at all!

Oh yes, abuse is given in almost daily doses unfortunately the engine's bottom end was a piece of junk to begin with.

Yes, pictures of them installed would be amazing!

Are you sure those weren't welded by a robot? Your friend has some skills. Kind of looks like someone tied them into a knot. Those look great!

Yeah, he is insanely good. You should see some of the proper race car stuff he does, absolutely stunning. Works in inconel and titanium and it all looks as good as that. V. jealous!

I'm wondering where you got your flanges from, and if anybody makes (or plans to make) "universal" bottom mount turbo manifolds. I can't find turbo manifolds for the Q45/Cima/President anywhere.

Had the flanges laser cut locally in the UK.

SSD, Mazworx sells VH exhaust flanges. I think theyre mild steel, not 304 SS.http://www.mazworx.com/index.p...=2772
