exhaust manifold

i just recently installed a L18 engine in my 71 521 p/u and was wondering if the exhaust manifold off my L16 will work on it . i have a header but need to modify the collector because it won't fit between torsion bar and frame. can someone give me some info on this

I put a L-18 in my 1970, and did not have any problems, with the exhaust manifold, but I also have a two inch exhaust pipe.
I do not know about headers, the Datsun manifolds are a lot quieter.
