Does anyone have the detailed instructions on removing driver's (Bank 2) Exhaust Manifold? The 02 Sensor "Bung" came off with the old 02 sensor and now I have to have an exhaust shop weld on a new $5 part. Just for codes sake the three codes my scanner picked up are P1168, P0150, and P0153. All three said issues related to Bank 2 Sensor 1. I did not realize G35 6 Cylinders are like Aston Martins where Bank 2 is on the driver's (left) side while sitting in the car.

Thanks,
Jim

You can look at the FSM (link in my sig). It may have a section that explains/show's the component location.

Thanks, didn't see anything for 2007 G35 Coupe - came back File not Found. Jacked the car up yesterday and started spraying Liquid Wrench on all bolts needing to pull out. I wanted to avoid pulling off the coolant lines thinking I may have the tools to get around it, curious to know if anyone has been able to do the job without draining coolant and pulling coolant lines. Is it possible or not? Guess I am going to find out.

Thanks again,

Jim

Those links need to be updated, try this one:

Would definately think its possible, may have to remove other stuff though. Haven't tried, but maybe they can come out the bottom with removal of everything down there.

Wanted to say thank you again. Finally got the exhaust manifold out and did not break a single bolt. The link provided the exact instructions and was superior to the information I read in a Haynes manual. Tomorrow I will have an exhaust shop weld in a new 02 sensor bung and then I will put it all together. Glad to be a new member of this forum.

Excellent.

The links refer to the factory service manuals which Nissan/Infiniti service centers use, I would hope they'd be better than Haynes :)

Good News! Finished the job on Sunday and the car is running great! No codes nor any problems. Thanks again.
