I wouldn't reuse the exhaust studs, I'd go with a set from ARP. The specs I believe are in FSM and it is posted on nioclub somewhere

JRB,

When I removed my manifold the first time, I had two studs snapped and recessed in the head. I used a stud-extractor and removed them. I purchased a full set of OE Nissan studs. I'm not sure about loc-tite, but I would use copper anti-seize (alumnium head).

Here are the FSM's:

Next time you guys snap off a stud, use a mig welder to weld a bolt to the end of the snapped stud. The mig wire will never stick to aluminum and the heat of welding will break loose the stud.

I had to remove 4 snapped studs in my KA and they came out by just turning the bolt by hand no tools or any thing. And best of all I didn't have to retap any threads.
