exhaust manifold installation

i cant get the exhaust manifold to the block on, thers a gap between it, i got the studs in but cant get it all the way to sit, and nothing is hittingman im getting frustrated, is there any tips to the installation or do i just gotta keep messing with it till its on?

No idea what you're talking about, pics might help. Mani should line right up. Are you trying to do it with the elbow on and maybe hitting the steer shaft??

yea im doing it with the elbowbut i took the manifold off with the elbow, in fact i just put it a divided turbo elbow.. could that b the reason?

That would only be the reason only if the elbow is hitting something. The divided part doesn't matter. You put the exhaust gasket on right? How much space is there between mani and block?

Get some pics up because your description is really vague. It should fit in easily if you have all the holes lined up with the studs.

there is about 1/2 " gap but just on the first 3 runners, the rest sits flush, ughh its getting me so frustrated especially since its starting to rain and all i got for transportation is my streetbikeill get some pics up in a couple minutes
