I got every single bolt except one bolt. The bolt on the passenger side closest to the firewall. I removed the stock oil catch can and still can't get into it..

(part a) i can't remove that bolt on top of that gasket illustrated.

how can't you get it? I just removed my manifold the other day. all I used was a regular 3/8th ratchet, an extension, and a swivel for a couple of the nuts.

iirc that last nut your talking about was one of the easier ones to see?

edit.. waitare you trying to remove the turbo bolts with the manifold still on the car? Good luck i say just remove the manifold you're making it much harder for yourself

so is your exhaust manifold still attached to the engine? that's the only way i can see it being a problem when it's off the car all those bolts are easliy accessible

^ It's best to remove the whole thing (exhaust manifold, w/ turbo attached). Then remove those stubborn bolts/nuts. Believe me, I've tried to do it, with it attached to the engine. That way you don't struggle.

make sure those are on tight because that bolt n the one next to it on the block side are both extremly loose on mine causing a s***ty exhaust leak

You can get em while its on the car. Jack up the front end. Go from underneath the car. Use plenty of extentions and a flex head. Works better if you're arms are small. (assuming the exhaust parts are all out of the way)Gonna be a PITA. If I could do it. Anyone can.

Well i got all of them off besides that one, it wasn't that bad but that last one is DEFINITELY A PITA, i removed the oil catch can and the o2 sensor soo i could get space but i found out that the bolt lock is stopping it sooo i can't get to it lol. I'm gonna work on it later.

i've never removed a turbo before and i need help. Basically i drain out my coolant and oil, then remove the my coolant and oil lines, then just remove the exhaust manifold bolts and pull it out? Remove the downpipe from the elbow of course.
