exhaust manifold emission

theres a small pipe that connects to the exhuast manifold....i already took it out..what do i do with it? just leave it hanging? i think it also connects to the intake manifold

You talking about the EGR? the one with the big flayer-nut fitting?

I have heard of people making a block off plate for where it attaches...

You can do what you want with it... Just remember taking out emissions equipment could cause you problems later.

removing it will cause problems if your state has emmisions laws. i took mine out for the ease of not having to put another hole in my DP. i just took it off the back of the intake mani and used a good o'l american quarter and some orange RTV to plug it up. the quarter is bigger than the hole in the mani so it wont get sucked inside.
