Back from the second page. I finally got approved for my damn camera pass, so that means picters when I get off work tonight, and maybe even a video of me welding if anyone is interested in that. Anyway pics later today.

Welding is finished. Got something special for it coming end of this week or the beginning of next. Discuss.

Yes, I could make you one. Let me know when. Of course, I would want a little reimbursement, but not much.

I work at Eli Lilly. It's almost impossible to find a rust free shell around here. It sucks so bad.

xckid-I'll e-mail you later today.

Well guys I have some sad news. Somewhere along the line my measurement got fvcked up. It fits in the engine bay, but I don't think I'll have room for a downpipe or intercooler piping. So, anyone got suggestions on a new design, cuz I am completely redoing this thing. Oh, and you guys running T3/T04E turbo's can you measure how far the compressor housing extends past the inlet flange end? That probably doesn't make sense...damn.

Oh xckid...forgot to email you, but i will do it now.

As bad as this will sound, cut off the T3 flange and twist it so the exhaust housing of the turbo angles towards the motor and away from the MBC. I had to do this myself one. Since I welded up a log mani when I first started, but didn't take into account the downpipe factor...lol.

It may end up being ugly, but you seem to weld pretty good, I'm sure you can rig something. Even if you weld another T3 flange ontop of the first one and port it out so the flow isn't jacked.

Does your compressor housing hit the #2 exhaust runner? Just trying to figure out why you'd need the measurement. The additional flange may help there as well.

LOL, I don't even have my turbo yet. My measurements were going off some form of a T3 that had a 1.00 a/r exhaust housing. What I'm trying to do is get the inlet flange as close the head flange and still have enough room for the compressor housing to clear the valve cover. I like the idea of turning the flange WD, but unfortunately that wont work. The manifold takes up the entire exhaust side of the engine bay. There is room for the wastegate down there, but that's it. Hotpipe can't go down and it cant go out to the side because the strut tower is there. Basically, I have to remake this *****.

Ehh...I'm not to worried about. I mean my motor isn't even built or in running condition for that matter. I view this as a learning experience, I'm in no rush for it now(the first one was a school project I had to turn in on the 21st, so I rushed that one.) This second one I'm going to take my time and get it right.

Anyone wanna help me out with that measurement???

I can try to help you out. just let me know what mesument you want from what point to what point and I will take some measurment for ya.

Either post them up on hear or email me.

Dont know if it will help you out or not considering that my manifold is probably going to put my turbo is a diffrent location than the one you are building, but i will take them for you any way.

With the compressor outlet clocked down towards the ground, how far does the compressor housing extend past the exhaust inlet? It may not extend past it at all, but that is assuming the pictures I've seen on here aren't lying to me. Oh, btw you're are teh **** for helping me!

ok so it is 1 1/4" and the outlet itself comes down 2 3/4" my manifold flange is tilted at like a 20-25 deg angle so those specs might be a little off if the mani flage is flat.

Hope that helps let me know if you need another messurment.

So the compressor sticks past the exhaust housing inlet by 1 1/4"?

Exactly what I needed, thank you much sir.

Manifold is now in pieces, lol. I'm re-fabbing all of it. Idk if I'm going to take as many pictures this time. We'll see though.
