hi guys .....well just like it says i have a exhaust manifld (tomei expreme) and new gasket to the turbo (gt28rs) and everytime i replace my studs and bolts they come lose and either fall off causeing a exhaust leak right at the point where the exhaust mani is hooked to the turbo. now the main issue i think it is is that there is a lot of wait that those bolts are holding up the turbo to the down pipe to the exhaust. I was wondering if there is a brace of some sort that i can buy that can help hold up the exhaust and the and down pipe so it does not put strain on the turbo studs and blots from the exhaust manifold?? thanks for the help.

now thats a good idea to get those but I am also wondering if this is a common problem for the sr20det. I dont know if there is a support bar that the oem sr20det comes with to support the weight of the downpipe and exhaust which is i would think would be the main issue. thanks for the reply 180fan

very common. more common at the manifold to turbo though. the support bar? you mean the one that links up to the transmission mount?

are you using the 7 layer metal gasket that came with the tomei kit?
