Exhaust leak

My CA is up and running great, except for a couple minor problems.

It has an audible exhuast leak somewhere in the engine bay. I'm running the stock manifold, with new gaskets, checked all the bolts, all are tight. Stock turbo with the old gasket, I noticed that two of the mounting bolts were loose the other day, but I've tightened them, and it didn't help. Stock elbow, replaced that gasket today, 3" ebay downpipe, cut/rewelded, new gasket. The car runs great, the boost doesn't seem to drop off at high rpm, and I don't hear any kind of whoosing or excessively loud spooling noise. Any idea where it might be coming from? Easy way to pinpoint it? I'm going to replace the manifold to turbo gasket soon...any way to do that without removing the manifold? Thanks

Just open the hood with the engine running and grab the throttle body and rev it up to listen for the noise. Thats about it...

did you put in an O2 sensor?

The idle is a little jumpy, so I think it's leaking around the manifold.

mine is aweful and I have a BAD leak. It's turning my valve covers black with soot. My turbo doesn't spool for crap either. If you have the heat sheilds on, take them off and that will help you track it down a little better.

yeah...jeez...my car runs like a sack of $hit but i dont exploit it in every one of my posts...stop crying and just fix the damn thing.iiim just joking, dont mind me, you know i envy you.

Tim sucks! JK man. And I am getting it fixed, but the parts ordering phase won't start till next week. And you'll have to get used to me complaining. It's one of my favorite things to do! Hehehe.
