Ok. Just finished putting on the Megan Header and Pipe, along with a Catco cat, and HKS Hi Power Exhaust. At first, I noticed a little noise coming from before the cat, which I figured was the meshed flex pipe. But after driving regularly for a week, I noticed the fluttering noise getting a little louder. Now it is as loud as my exhaust used to be when it was full of holes and leaking.

Has anyone else come across this problem? If it is a problem, what can I do to lessen that fluttering noise?

If you can, get the car up on a lift, cover the muffler with a rag and walk through the whole pipe listening and looking for leaks.. check where the manifold connects to the motor also, most likely since all your parts are new, one of your gaskets isnt completely sealed or on right.

Thanks. Luckily I have to change my front bearings so it is going up on a lift in the next few days. I have never actually seen a flex pipe mesh design like the Megan Racing one. I also had to bend a mount that was welded for the wrong side of the pipe. It was weird why it was like that and the company I got it from I buy from all the time, so I wonder if that can be part of the problem since there is only one way for it to fit.
