Hey all, I finally got my 240 back onto the road now equipped with an S13 Blacktop. I have Blitz LM FMIC, Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust, 3" testpipe, HT Hotpipe, and Greddy Type S BOV.

Anyway, the problem I am having is that I put about 25 miles on the car and everything was working fantastically. I was getting 8psi of boost at about 2800rpm and it was holding till redline. However, at about mile 25 I went over to a friends house to show off my new toy and gave him a ride. As I was driving him around I hit a bump and all of a sudden my exhaust got louder. I think I might have toasted either the manifold gasket, turbo gasket or the O2 housing gasket. I don't have time to take off the turbo assembly right this second so is it going to kill anything to just run it with the exhaust leak?

Any suggestions/comments?

you might have just busted a hole somewhere in your exhaust piping.

no that isn't it. I just went outside with a friend of mine and it turns out that I blew the turbo to manifold gasket ( I KNEW I should have replaced that while it was off the block!!!) I listened to where the sound was coming from and stuck my hand down there and lo and behold, I felt hot air...

Oh well I guess I have a full day's work ahead of me now with fixin that mofo...

you live, you learn :(

Wow, I think this is a new record. It took mine 4 days and about 100 miles to blow. It took you like an hour and 25 miles to blow.

everyone, if you have your SR out of the engine, CHANGE THAT GASKET!!!!!! It's like 10 bucks that saves a days worth of work.

It isn't all that big of a deal, but DEFINITELY follow Ryan's instructions, for the love of all that is holy change the freaking gasket while it is off of the car...
