I have an exhaust leak on the exit side of my Cat,, it is a really bad leak. I cannot get the bolts of and I have soaked them with PB blaster. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get these bolts off. Also what kind of gaskets do I need to replace b/c I belive that is why I have a huge leak. Do I need like a donut gasket or flat gasket?

Run to your local Napa autoparts or Autozone parts store and pick up a couple of Cat gaskets for your car. To get the bolts off, you might need a impact wrench. If it's rusted to Snhits, then cut the nut right at the flange with some kind of metal cutter. When that's out you have to drill out the studs on the cat and just pick up some bolts to replace it from Menards or something. Put like 2 gaskets in there if you can... other wise go to http://www.srswap.com and get their high flow cat... I got one and it comes with some great gaskets and bolts.

i have yet to see any bolt that wouldnt come off with PB blaster. keep soaking it, and get a breaker bar. if its already rounded, use vice grips+ breaker bar. drilling out studs suck.. alot. use that as a last resort after you've tried EVERYTHING.
