Exhaust leak???

i just finished my swap friday night and on saturday morning at work my homies check out the car and they said i might have an exhaust leak because of the way my car was sounding...i trust they are correct because they are all techs at a dealership...any one come across a exhaust leak and find out what it was...any ideas...where should i start? is there a normal problem like this? or did i get a **** up motor? thanks

probably just a gasket. reach your hand around places where two metal peices connect (turbo to manifold, manifold to head, etc) and see if you can feel any hot air coming out. Or get a lighter and run it around the turbo area and see if wind is blowing the lighter around.

Turbo to manifold is a pretty common problem area.

ya make sure your manifold is nice and tight on the head, dont miss any of the nuts. and also check your exhaust itself..make sure there are no holes in it and also make sure your test pipe is tightened down to the downpipe good as well as the downpipe to the o2 dump and the o2 dump to the back of your turbo

Ya wouldn't hurt to re torque all your exhaust bolts.
