Car just turned 60K miles (I dont drive it much) and Im hearing an exhaust leak, it seems to be just rear of the front drivers seat. I did a quick inspection underneath and couldnt really see anything bad (a little rust but no holes, didnt feel any exhaust, etc).

What are the most common exhaust leaks on these cars?

I *think* its the resonator as that seems to be around the area of the noise, but Im wondering if thats a common issue, based on the amount of resonators that I see for sale. Lots of talk about replacing cats but Im not quite sure mine is even leaking.

EDIT: forgot to mention, the CEL is not on, at least not yet. I dont have my scanner with me so I couldnt scan for pending codes.

Thanks in advance.

Leaks are usually on the joints/gaskets and welded areas. Have the car on a lift for a thorough inspection. The resonator, if rusted, is not expensive to replace.

Jack the car up and check the axle back muffler piece...follow it to the flange, bet $5.00 it's cracked around that flange. Welded several of them up right there.
