I recently purchased a 300zx 2+2 and am new to forum. I could not find anything on this so here is my issue: I have what seems to be a leak in my exhaust, I think coming from drivers side near front of rear wheels (muffler inlet?). I am still within Indiana noise regulations, but I heard that some engines require a certain amount of back pressure from the exhaust to function properly. Is this the case with my Z32? If not, I will wait to get some new exhaust until I take care of some other issues first (Timing belt, AC recharge, engine inspection and cleaning, etc. If it is a problem, I will correct as soon as possible, which will put me in the market for a decent but cheap USED exhaust system until I am ready for a new one. If there is already a discussion on this, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Thanks, biggs. Figured I was good since I couldn't find any other info in the forums flooded with Z info. :) This thread is ended.
